New Year, New Site

Happy New Year Everyone!

I just came across a series of really beautiful black & white pictures taken by Mike Shane when Scott and I were in the process of building our little Frankenstein brewing sculpture and just wanted to share them all with you…

We have ALWAYS been HUGE fans of Mike Shane, but after you see these pics, I think you’ll agree Mike is one of the most talented photographers in this city…

Cheers!

My new Bi Weekly Beer Column for the Staten Island Advance!

It’s official! I will be writing a bi-weekly beer column for the Staten Island Advance in the Thursday edition under the Dining section. It’s called “The Malt Shed”, inspired by the homebrew competition of the same name @ the Richmond County Craft Beer Fest on October 22nd. My premier will be in tomorrows edition 9/29. The column is about my love of craft beer, homebrewing the beers I love and brewing culture. I’m really excited about this opportunity to be able to speak to a larger audience about my love for beer and getting a chance to experience brewing from another angle. I want to thank my editor at the paper Pam Silvestri for giving me my very own soap box (or Case of Beer!) to stand on! She might regret it! HAHAHA!!
The column will be available in print of course and online at SI Live.com.I hope you will all check it out and let me know what you think!
Cheers for now…
